Award
My product, The Mode, won Third Place at the Global Innovations Awards (GIA) Student Design Competition. It had 358 applicants, ranging from 31 schools.
My product, an air-filter appliance with a dual-mode capability of both passive air-filtration and traditional vacuuming capabilities, resonated well with the judges on The International Housewares Association board.

I had the pleasure and honour of representing myself at The Inspired Home Show 2024 in Chicago, IL. It was an incredible experience to both visit the windy city and to learn from my fellow competition winners.
​
The Inspired Home Show included a vast array of companies showing off the latest in their innovative technologies and products, with each showcase telling a new story and differing design mindsets.
​
It was a truly life-changing experience, and I hope to someday return, whether as a competition winner or as an exhibitor myself.

The GIA Awards were hosted by The Inspired Home Show, taking place on March 17-19, 2024 at the McCormick Place Center in Chicago, Illinois. A premier trade event focused on the home goods industry, it showcased a wide range of innovative products and designs. This yearly event attracts manufacturers, retailers, and industry professionals from around the world. The show features various exhibits, seminars, and networking opportunities, allowing attendees to discover the latest trends, connect with suppliers, and gain insights into the evolving housewares market.
